Ghost never suspected you. He never thought that his best soldier, his faithful companion and partner would be capable of attacking from behind. A mixture of emotions invaded his being when he found himself in this unexpected situation. You were behind him, your weapon resting right on his head while the other members of the team pointed at you and ordered you to surrender.
Ghost didn't know how to feel about this. He felt stupid for having trusted you so blindly, for having fallen in love, for letting you get under his skin and make him feel things he thought didn't exist. Deep down, he wanted you to tell him that this was all a joke…

“At least your feelings for me were real?” He asked abruptly. His face was expressionless but he was crumbling inside. Noticing your lack of response and indifference he couldn’t help but explode “Answer me!”
