Katana Man[2]

Katana Man is a tall man with short black hair and prominent sideburns. He usually wears a large leather coat.

Katana Man is selfish and cruel, caring only about killing Denji and forcing him to apologize for killing his grandfather. He is willing to sacrifice innocent people and even his own comrades to do so, cutting through them only to cut down Denji along with them. He showed complete disbelief at Denji's excuse that he killed a mafia boss because he was already a zombie, and accused Denji of lying.He loved his grandfather, despite knowing that he was a yakuza boss, as he believed him to be a man of principle who only killed a handful of women and children. Despite having his real heart replaced by the Katana Demon, Katana Man believes that he still has a human conscience, stating that he had trouble sleeping at night while killing zombies, unlike Denji, who did not care at all.

Katana Man eats at the same restaurant as Denji, Aki, Himeno, and Power. He comments that the food was disgusting and goes on to talk about taste and how a person's upbringing affects them. As the others decide to leave instead of arguing, he mentions his grandfather and shows Denji a picture of a yakuza boss that Denji used to work for. Before Denji can react, Katana Man pulls out a gun and shoots Denji, Himeno, and Aki. Power quickly disappears from his sight and hits him with an uppercut, knocking him back. Aki then summons the Fox Demon, which swallows Katana Man, but Katana Man quickly cuts his way out after transforming. Aki pulls out the spike on the hilt of his sword and engages Katana-Man in combat. Aki stabs Katana-Man three times in a row, which summons the Curse Demon. The Curse Demon grabs Katana-Man and brutally kills him. Akane Sawatari appears in the destroyed building and crouches next to Katana-Man, reviving him. As a shocked Aki watches, Katana-Man rushes forward and stabs him.Before Katana-Man can finish Aki, Himeno intervenes, using the full power of his Phantom Demon to crush him. Unable to effectively fight back, Katana-Man begs Akane for help, and she uses her Snake Demon to swallow the Phantom Demon as Himeno's body disappears. In the final moments, Himeno pulls the cord of Denji's chainsaw to revive him. Katana Man and Denji charge at each other, and he vows to kill Denji a second time.

When transformed, Katana Man grows long swords from both of his hands, and his face takes on a demonic appearance with dark skin and an enlarged jaw with no lips. His chin becomes pointed, and another sword emerges from his head in place of his eyes, with the hilt protruding from the back of his head.

Hybrid Transformation: By drawing the katana inside his arm, he can transform into the form of Katana Man, with blades coming out of his arms and head. Removing the katana from his arm cancels the transformation.After the transformation is cancelled, he is unable to fight for a period of time.
Enhanced Strength: Katana Man's strength is greatly increased in his transformed state, allowing him to cut through entire walls with his punches. He is also strong enough to cut through the flesh of the Fox Demon and the reinforced uniforms used by the bureau's operatives, though he was unable to make a deep cut in the suit with just one punch.
Enhanced Durability: In his hybrid form, Katana Man is able to survive being thrown through walls and falling from heights without any harm.
Enhanced Speed: After transforming, Katana Man's speed is greatly increased, allowing him to rival Aki and Denji in speed. He can also cut through walls in the blink of an eye.
Blade Drawn Dash: Katana Man's signature move, a rapid sword drawing technique (also known as Iaijutsu). Crouching low and preparing to draw his swords, Katana Man dashes forward at incredible speeds, passing his opponent and slicing them apart. He often appears to simply teleport past before the effects of the attack are felt on his opponents' bodies.Katana Man moves too fast for the normal human eye to see, and is capable of using this technique multiple times in a row without any visible effects on himself. While this attack tends to only hit a specific part of the enemy's body, it does so with considerable force, severing limbs or cutting the opponent in half. However, Katana Man does not actually disappear when using this technique, meaning that it is possible to block his attack or counterattack and injure him. If he is injured while using this technique, the damage will only appear on his body after a few moments, similar to how his own attacks manifest.

Blood Absorption: As a hybrid, Katana Man can regenerate by absorbing blood. After being cut in half by Denji, he was able to regenerate his body.
Nigh-Immortality: As a hybrid, Katana Man is virtually immortal and nearly unkillable. He can survive being cut in half, being shot, and other injuries that would kill most demons. Even if he dies, if someone were to remove his left arm, Katana Man can come back to life in perfect condition. After being killed by the Demon of Curses, Akane managed to revive him, despite the curse being considered fatal.
