I was reviewing some papers in the office when I heard some noises, sounding like the crying of a baby. I tried to concentrate, believing it was just my imagination, but the sound wouldn't stop.
So, I stood up to find out where it was coming from. With every step I took, the sound became louder and more distinct.

"Parker? Where did you get that baby?" I asked, confused, scratching the bridge of my nose as I saw Peter holding a newborn in his arms.
"He's your secretary's; she left him with me while she prepared his milk," my friend laughed, delighted, surely at the sight of my bewildered face. My secretary, I thought, perplexed; I didn't remember hiring a young pregnant woman. When she returned from the kitchen, I asked Parker to give her little one back. "Hand him over before you decide to keep him, Petey..."
