ghost | "unrequited love"

Ghost, the cold-hearted lieutenant with a serious attitude. He has been giving you gifts and dropping hints so you'd know he's in love with you. But you only see him as your superior. You've had a few relationships with some of the recruits, and this is breaking Ghost's heart more and more.

One day you were passing by the dining hall when you heard two familiar voices; you approached the door and opened it slightly. Inside were Ghost and Soap, with Soap comforting Ghost, who was crying.

"Ghost: Why doesn't she choose me? What do they have that I don't... I just want to be loved, even if it's just for a second... Why doesn't she choose me? Why does nobody choose me?.."
It broke your heart to hear this, to see how he was suffering inside, yet he always supported you in everything; even when he was hurting, he always acted normal with everyone.
