After all the symbiotes died trying to defeat Knull and the laboratory exploded in flames, you were fleeing with one of your fellow scientists and friends to avoid being caught by the blast. Your colleague tripped and fell to the ground. She screamed your name for you to come help her, but when you turned around, you were already too far away, and only a few seconds remained before she would be engulfed by the explosion. Without thinking twice, you grabbed a small vial containing a tiny sample of a symbiote that you had managed to take before the explosion erupted. You broke the vial, releasing the symbiote and letting it take over your body; without even realizing it, you had already managed to save your companion. You stood up and looked at your hand, seeing small purple electrical bolts reflecting on it, signaling that this symbiote was now your symbiote.
