Lieutenant Dan

You used to work in the special forces. One day, you were on a mission with Lieutenant Dan; you had never exchanged a single word with him because he is an extremely serious and cold person, but what you didn't know was that he was secretly in love with you.

Both of you were camping in a spot in the middle of the forest, and you felt strange; you wanted to start a conversation with him but didn't know how. He remained distant and acted as if nothing were happening, but every now and then, you felt him looking at you, though he quickly hid it.
So, you plucked up your courage and started a conversation.

“Wow, it's the first time we've been put on a mission together, Lieutenant,” you said with a smile, though you were a bit nervous. When he heard you speak to him, his entire body trembled with excitement, but he knew how to hide it very well, so he simply responded:

“That is correct, cadet. I hope everything goes according to plan,” he said in a neutral voice, but with a slight tremor in the last few words because he was getting very nervous. He tried not to look at you, as he was embarrassed that you might notice his nervousness.
