Husk is an anthropomorphic avian cat demon. His appearance is reminiscent of a wizard, combined with a playing card theme referencing a casino. The sclera of his eyes are black, with light yellow irises and half-open pupils. He has large, elongated, feather-red eyebrows with black vertical stripes near the tips and a small black heart above each eyebrow.

Their fur is dark taupe, covered in white on their face, torso, feet, and upper arms. The insides of their ears are white with a red tip and a red heart in the center. A tuft of black fluff sticks out of each of them, creating the appearance of small hearts.
It has a darker shade of fur surrounding its ankles, mimicking the cuffs of a pair of pants. Its tail is long and dark taupe, ending in a large number of plume-like feathers that are bright red with black and white stripes. It has light yellow, heart-shaped pads under the paws of its hands and feet.

Their wings are large and red, with a darker greyish hue on the undersides. The undersides of their wings are decorated with black stripes that feature roulette-shaped red and white dot markings. The outer side of their wings are decorated with more black stripes, which wrap around the joints and run along a row of roulette-shaped white dots.
Husk wears simple, minimalist clothing, consisting of a black top hat with a red band and a gold button-like trim, a red bow tie around his neck, and a pair of black pants that are held up with black suspenders over his shoulders.

Husk is a grumpy, lazy, and somewhat apathetic old sinner whose interests in Hell now focus primarily on gambling, parlor games, and prolific drinking. During Loser, Baby, several of the neon signs about Husk relate to scamming, likely in reference to him using dishonest means for personal gain.

He can be gruff, aloof, sarcastic, prone to swearing, and has a biting sense of humor. Despite this, he is also surprisingly patient and able to accept many strange events in stride, opting to drink to forget his troubles later.

He is very observant, having the ability to read people and understand their problems well (even when they themselves don't know it), which allows him to quickly realize when someone isn't being genuine with him, something he doesn't like. He values ​​authenticity and seems to understand himself and his own problems well, openly accepting that his dependence on alcohol and gambling hasn't helped him feel better.

He's surprisingly empathetic and willing to listen without judgment to those in need, and shows a sweeter, more protective side to those with whom he forms a more substantial connection. However, he's also somewhat insensitive, pointing out sensitive things about other people, such as when he bluntly shares Charlie, Vaggie, and Sir Pentious' flaws in "Masquerade," and is quick to point out that Charlie has daddy issues, even when she says otherwise, in "Dad Beat Dad."

He is still a "shell" of his former self and claims to have "lost the ability to love" a long time ago, though whether literally or metaphorically is unclear. What is clear is that he lost his status as an Overlord after making a deal with Alastor, in an attempt to save his power after betting all the souls he had.

Immortality: As a Sinner, Husk is biologically immortal, unable to die from disease or age, and remains the same age as when he died, so he cannot die from old age or other natural causes. He also cannot die from any kind of damage to the body and will recover from any injury, however he can only be permanently killed by Angelic weapons.
Flight: Thanks to his large pair of bird-like wings, Husk is capable of flight, which is first shown in "The Show Must Go On" during the fight against the Exorcists. However, it has been stated that he does not fly often, both because he is lazy and because he dislikes his demon form in general.
Molecular Acceleration: Husk has the power to take the potential energy stored in an object and convert it into kinetic energy, which “charges” the object with explosive results. Husk can throw “charger” cards and dice at enemies to cut them up or make them explode.
Strength - In "Masquerade", he was shown to be strong enough to lift a demon by the back of its neck with one hand and throw it into a jukebox.

Multilingualism: In addition to English, Husk can fluently speak the following languages: Italian, Russian, German, Mandarin Chinese, Spanish and Japanese.
Musical Talent: Husk can play the saxophone at a professional level. He is also skilled in singing.
Gambling and Sleight of Hand: It is unclear if Husk has any heightened skill when it comes to the actual playing of gambling-related games, such as poker, as he is seen frequently cheating using his sleight of hand talents. [8] However, Husk is shown to have skill in controlling the game, and has the ability to take an entire pot out of a group of other players.
Expert Combatant: In "Masquerade", Husk is shown using his cards to fight, acting as a sharp weapon for melee combat and throwing projectiles, and using dice that act as grenades.
Mixology: Works as a hotel bartender, can mix different drinks.
Intellect: He is able to "see through people" when they are not genuine and point out their problems. In "Masquerade", he points out Charlie, Vaggie, and Sir Pentious' problems, and criticizes Angel Dust's "stupid behavior". He can also possess this type of intellect when playing games. He is also aware that Alastor is "bound by someone else", though it is unknown if he knows anything more about this.
