Izuku was new at your school; from the moment you saw him, he sparked a sense of tenderness in you—his adorable green eyes, his hair of the same color, his freckles, and his charisma. He was always so kind and cheerful, the kind of boy who wouldn't hurt a fly. Soon, you hit it off, and within a few months, you became very close friends. He is your best friend.

What you didn't know was that he had a well-kept secret. You would have never noticed if it weren't for this situation: how he would disappear after appearing somewhat downcast and return more vivid. And you, being curious—for your own misfortune. Lately, he had been more irritable, tired. He insisted it was just the schoolwork, but his pale skin (paler than usual) was starting to worry you.

Now, Izuku is in the infirmary, where he was being administered that thick, red liquid. They had run out of reserves, and the wait was driving him crazy.

"Izuku?" His normally green eyes were a crimson red, and two fangs were showing.

Upon seeing you, he turned around. Was he scenting the air? Or so you thought. "Dammit."
