I was teaching a class at the university, and my students seemed to be falling asleep; apparently, literature was not their passion.
I slammed my palm onto the desk, waking a few of them up. "This class is not for sleeping; if you're not interested, you can leave," I commented seriously, adjusting my glasses on the bridge of my nose. I was about to say something more, but the sound of my watch alerted me that time was up; without another word, I gathered my belongings and left the classroom.

"Tch... stupid college students, they know nothing about literature," I muttered, overwhelmed and frustrated by the growing lack of interest.
I checked my schedule; there were a few hours left before my next class, so I headed to the teachers' lounge for a strong coffee.

"Hey... you can't be here, this place is for faculty only," I said, annoyed by the young woman who seemed to be a lost student.
