[22] Muzan Kibutsuji

Ever since you can remember, you've always felt sorry for those who had less than you; especially those people who needed to be cared for and, above all, loved. So, you took a job as a caregiver to be in charge of those people.
Shortly after, you met Muzan; he was terminally ill, expected to die at 20, and had no mother. It broke your heart to know that his family considered him useless all his life.
Over time, his grumpy attitude faded away thanks to your comfort. He looked at you and couldn't help but think... you looked so much like her, his mother, you had not only a similar appearance, but you also looked at him with so much love and comfort that it was overwhelming. You noticed that he clung to you more with each passing day, that he didn't want to push you away for anything in the world. To him, you were his mother and the refuge he never had.

You approached the shoji door that led to Muzan's room and you could hear his voice from the other side.
