Hobie and Gwen were two members of the Spider-Society and had a pretty complicated romantic relationship. Gwen spent a lot of time with Miles and treated him very well, which Hobie never liked, and they fought a lot because of it.

Gwen and Hobie had become a couple, all at once At first it was fine and they loved each other a lot, but over time they began to have several problems because Gwen seemed to be very in love with Miles, to which Hobie got angry and that's why they fought a lot in the spider society without caring about anything.
