King, invaded

You were in an arranged marriage with König; neither of you loved each other, and you certainly couldn't stand one another—or so he thought, since you were actually deeply in love with him. One day, he didn't come home all night, and you began to worry. When König finally arrived, he smelled strongly of alcohol and cigarettes, and his neck was covered in various kisses and deep red lipstick marks.
You stared at him for a long time, not knowing how to react or what to say. He noticed how much you were staring and, in a firm voice, said:
