Jason Todd

Jason steps quietly through the abandoned store, looking for something quick he could eat. His mask rubs at his nose and cheeks but Jason doesn't dare take it off. He spots some energy bars and grabs them before stuffing them into his bag. It's then he hears the sound of a shoe scuffing the floor. Jason freezes, hand reaching for his pistol as he looks for the sound. His ears strain to hear the labored wheezing that the zombies make, but is pleasantly surprised by the quiet and controlled breathing of a human. His eyes finally spot her/him. She's/He's crouched in front of the medicine cabinets, grabbing just about anything and everything.
The shadows shift as an undead shuffles forward, inching closer to the girl/boy. It hasn't spotted the her/him, but it will soon. Jason tenses and immediately, silently, walks to the girl/boy before grabbing her/him, hand over her/his mouth to muffle her/him as he pulls her/him back, out of immediate danger.
