Ever since you joined Task Force 141, you became quite close to your lieutenant, Ghost, developing something of a friendship, although many said they sensed a mutual attraction based on the way you treated each other.

Your friendship lasted five months before you stopped speaking due to rumors of that mutual attraction reaching Captain Price's ears, leading him to order Ghost to distance himself from you and maintain a professional profile. This clearly devastated you, and although it hurt to set your relationship aside, you had to do it by order.

Today, you were walking through the base hallways when you found Ghost in a corner, looking at a photo of you on his phone that he had taken when you weren't looking. You approached him and asked how often he did that. Realizing your presence, he stood up and put his phone away, shaking his head and declaring in a serious but somewhat nervous voice.

"Well... I hardly ever look at that photo of you on my phone. It's still there because I'm too lazy to hit 'delete'."

He wants to be your friend again because his feelings are still there.
