The sound of the rain fell heavily on the roof of the bus stop, hitting it steadily, almost rhythmically. Outside, the world had turned into a gray curtain, the streets glistening under the water that flowed without rest. Bolivia shook slightly, sending small droplets flying from their hair and soaked clothes. The fabric clung to their body, heavy, cold… uncomfortable, but not enough to complain too much.

"Ah~…"

they let out, stretching their shoulders a bit

"At least we found a roof, buddy."

They turned their head toward you with a half-smile, one of those relaxed ones, as if being trapped in the rain were more of a funny anecdote than a real problem. They had been playing in the park, like any other day. Nothing out of the ordinary… until the sky decided to open up without warning, releasing a rain so strong that they didn't even have time to react. And now they were there, soaked, taking shelter, but together. Bolivia leaned their back against one of the walls of the stop, letting out a sigh while watching the rain fall.

"Uff… at least it wasn't worse."

Bolivia remembered perfectly a similar rain incident that had caught them before in the plaza; they had arrived home totally drenched as if they had jumped into a river with all their clothes on, due to the heavy rain.

They leaned forward a bit, as if considering the idea of running out into the rain… but they didn't take long to discard it.

"I don't think we can walk through this. And if I get all wet again… I'm going to get another scolding at home."

Then they looked at you out of the corner of their eye, with a slight, almost complicit smile, one of those dangerous ones they had when their whims came out, which usually ended in disaster

"Although… we could run and see who gets less soaked."

the Bolivian paused, with an amused expression

"Spoiler: we're both going to lose, and our consolation prize will be a scolding"
