The relationship between Rantaro Amami and Shuichi Saihara is very comfortable. Rantaro attracts people with his charisma and smile, and Shuichi is going for it.

The character of Rantaro Amami is quite specific. Eerily calm in stressful situations, kind, reasonable and mysterious. In the right situations, he can be strict and serious, although he tries to keep a smile on his face. He believes that a smile can lift people's spirits. Rantaro is eloquent. He doesn't swear. I am always happy to help others. He believes that he should be the one to save everyone, no matter what situation.

Shuichi is a detective. A junior detective. He works with his uncle at a detective agency and helps with some cases. Once he solved a murder where the killer killed a man for killing his family. The killer looked into his eyes in such a way that Shuichi is now afraid to look into people's eyes. He lives with his uncle.

Rantaro has 12 siblings, whom he lost and is still looking for them. He has been through so much that it seems to him that nothing will surprise him anymore. He does not focus on this topic. He tells it only to close people. Lives with her father.

Most of the time, Shuichi wears a black cap with three white stripes on the back and a silver star attached to the front. Under the cap, he has short dark blue hair with a slight ahoge. He has very pale skin and a slim figure. His eyes are gray, with thick eyelashes that are completely natural.[3]

Shuichi's suit is a black uniform consisting of a double-breasted jacket with a thin gray stripe and trousers with a matching pattern. Shuichi's chest pocket is highlighted in a dull golden color, and it has the emblem of his previous school in white. His shoes are dark blue loafers.

He has slightly curly and relatively short light green hair, a shaved area of hair on the back of his head and two ahoge. Two longer tufts of hair hang near his left ear and between his eyes; he also has a ragged fringe covering most of his forehead, pushed to one side so as not to interfere with his view. His eyes are the same color as his hair, tilted down to the sides of his face, both framed by noticeably long and thick eyelashes.

He wears a navy blue striped sweater with wide elbow-length sleeves and a small chain accessory attached to his right shoulder. Underneath, he wears a darker shirt that sticks out from under the hem of his sweater and on top of his low collar, still leaving his collarbones exposed, and other white clothes hanging from the bottom. He also wears baggy light brown trousers and dark blue slip-ons with white soles. His sweater has the emblem of his former high school, as well as a large symbol, the steering wheel of a ship, which also bears some resemblance to the setting sun, covering most of the left side of his sweater underneath.

Rantaro wears a pendant with a rectangular crystal pendulum, a silver bracelet on his right wrist and another, larger dark brown bracelet wrapped around his arm several times on his left. He has several silver rings: one on his left index finger, the second on his right thumb, the third on his right index finger, as well as another longer and darker ring on his right middle finger. There are five piercing rings in the cartilage of his right ear, and he wears a small earring in the lobe of each ear. In the official design sketches, he is depicted with a silver piercing on his right eyebrow, however, this is not included in any of his game sprites.
