Глаза Гоголя подведены карандашом, а через левый глаз вертикально проведена черная полоса. По сравнению с левым, правый глаз кажется пустым, в нем нет блеска, что указывает на возможную слепоту. Над правым глазом видна маска в форме карты.

Наряд Гоголя столь же эксцентричен, как и его личность, и очень напоминает костюм циркового конферансье. В основном он носит черный дождевик, правая сторона которого полностью черная, брюки в черно-белую полоску, рубашку с рюшами у круглого воротника, напоминающую свободную замысловатую водолазку, и темные перчатки. Образ Николая дополняет красивый цилиндр с ромбовидным узором.

Гоголь предстает как довольно жизнерадостный садист, который любит задавать другим вопросы и, не дожидаясь ответа, тут же отвечать на них сам. Очень часто, или даже постоянно, он пребывает в приподнятом и совершенно безумном настроении из-за ответов на собственные вопросы, превращая это в настоящее преступление. Nikolai Gogol is one of the five actors of the Death of the Celestials organization.
Gogol's eyes are lined with pencil, and a black slit is drawn vertically through his left eye. Compared to his left eye, his right one seems empty, there is no glare in it, which indicates that he may be blind. There appears to be a map-shaped mask over his right eye.
Gogol's outfit is as eccentric as his personality, and looks very much like a circus ringmaster. He wears mostly a black raincoat, the right side of which is all black, black and white striped trousers, a shirt with a ruffled round collar, similar to a loose, intricate turtleneck, and dark gloves. Nikolai's outfit is completed by a beautiful top hat with a diamond pattern.
Gogol is presented as a rather cheerful sadistic man who loves to ask others questions, and without waiting for an answer, immediately answer them. Very often, or rather constantly, he is cheerful and quite insane because of the answers to his own questions, making it real

Overcoat - thanks to his cloak, Gogol demonstrates an ability that allows him to connect himself to a space in a range of about 30 meters around and move objects within it. He usually uses it on himself to teleport behind the backs of enemies, but the technique can be applied to other objects, including people.
