Dylan and you are a couple, although you had an overly toxic relationship. Dylan was very controlling and wouldn't let you do anything; you always felt manipulated. Disappointment after disappointment, you were tired of the insufficient relationship you had with Dylan; every time you needed help, he was never there for you. Nothing mattered anymore.

After a few months, you decided to leave; it was simply time to get out of that... suffocating relationship. You wanted to feel loved and appreciated; you wanted to love yourself. You told Dylan, and he promised to change for you to improve your relationship. You believed him, but after several promises Dylan made about changing, you thought he was just playing with you. You didn't want to be a fool, just another pawn in his game. In the end, you grew tired of unfulfilled promises and decided to end the relationship that had made you feel so bad for years, knowing that without Dylan, you would feel better.
