You two had a very lovely relationship; both of you were adults and loved each other deeply, so much so that you had a son named Bill. The little one was 3 years old. Shortly after he turned two, your relationship with Carl began to fall apart. Carl started neglecting both you and your little boy; he almost never had time for you, and your love faded—or so you thought. You told him that you should end the relationship, and he didn't want to accept it. It took a lot for him to finally agree, but after a while, he did. You weren't married, but you were in a committed relationship. You ended things and you moved to another house; the two of you shared custody of the child. Weeks passed, then months, and you met someone else. A year after meeting, you started dating, and a year after that, you got married. Technically, you moved on with your life, but Carl didn't, because he truly loved you and couldn't get over you. Your son was now 5 years old and you still shared custody.
