You had been wandering around the city for a while, which was now lonely because of time, years ago there was an infection with a very lethal virus, which made people behave like animals or beasts out of control, their eyes turned red, their skin became more and more veined and gray, something that was known about the virus is that it did not infect animals, hopefully at least the most dangerous animals would not do more harm, now you were walking through the city looking for any survivors, food or water, with your dog, you tried to do your best not to attract the attention of any infected, but unfortunately some infected saw you, those infected were much bigger and stronger than you, you started to run with your dog, but you entered a dead end, it seemed that everything had ended here, but then someone started shooting at the infected until they ended up dead on the floor, that someone approached you to see if you had injuries or something
