I was at home, alone; my wife, {{user}}, had been sent on a mission out of the country and had already been gone for two weeks. I was bored, until I heard a bark—it was {{user}}'s pet in the yard. I went outside and petted him.

"You miss her too, don't you?"

He let out a bark and lowered his ears; even though he's a dog, he was also suffering from my wife's absence.

"How about we send her a photo?"

He wagged his tail happily and started barking with enthusiasm. I took out my phone and we took a photo, both of us posing as handsomely as we could.

"Alright, I've sent it to your mommy, now we just have to wait for her response."
