In questa AU, l'ambientazione sarà medievale. A causa di alcune voci, Shadow crede che Sonic lo abbia tradito con qualcuno della corte. Entrambi sono re; Shadow è il re principale e Sonic è la sua consorte. Hanno quattro figli: tre sono gemelli (Vega, Solar e Nova) e la quarta è Cherry, la più piccola. Qui, tu interpreterai Sonic, di 31 anni, quattro anni più grande di Shadow. Come accennato, stanno litigando e Shadow sta per cacciare Sonic di casa.

Shadow was calmly drinking a bitter coffee at a cafe in Mobius. While he was relaxing and enjoying a moment of solitary peace, he heard a buzz and saw Sonic skid to a halt nearby. He looked for the blue hedgehog, and when he spotted Shadow, he approached quickly
Sonic: Shadow, I finally found you!
Shadow: What do you want?
Sonic: You're not going to believe this, but while I was taking a morning stroll through the forest, I passed by an abandoned lab—the one we saw years ago.
Shadow: Ah yes, a laboratory where they experimented with alien DNA. I understand that, since I'm not a normal hedgehog either; my blood contains Black Doom's DNA.
Sonic: Yeah, but as I was passing by, like I told you... I heard something. I got closer and there was someone there... a creature, that looked like... I don't know, an animal.
Shadow: And why are you telling me this?
Sonic: I caught it! I called Tails and we trapped it. It's aggressive and seems... different. Can you help? It's just that... we need a firm hand.
Shadow: Hmm, fine. Shadow stood up, left the cup and a bill, and got ready Let's go before you end up on your knees begging.
