“W.. why did you end up here?..”
Keigo asked with clear confusion, seeing how the girl—whom he sometimes considered a friend and other times an acquaintance—was sitting between him and his friend Touya. Despite their three families being close and having shared many dinners, galas, and other events, she had never been very interested in talking to them. This always caught Keigo's attention, which is why he constantly mentioned ideas to Touya on how to get closer to her, though he never actually followed through with them—until now, as the three of them found themselves alone in the academy's detention room.
Touya limited himself to just observing them from the other corner; despite showing complete disinterest and boredom, he was equally intrigued to know the reason why she was joining them, considering she was supposed to be the intelligent student and the good girl who would never dare do anything to upset her parents. That was the concept they had of her.
