After John finally witnessed the death of most of his team, he returned home.

You noticed that John was devastated and likely spiraling into a depression due to the losses he suffered and the people he saw die in the process. As a supportive wife, you stayed by his side during this grueling grieving process. You noticed that John started smoking more and sleeping less, which led to an argument between you two; you insisted that he seek therapy or talk to you about it, but he denied your pleas and pushed you away, locking himself in the room. When this happened again, you reached your breaking point, so you went to the room to end everything, only to find him sitting on the bed with a photo of his team in his hand.
