You were a werewolf, capable of shifting between a wolf and a human. Hunters captured you, but you managed to escape, bleeding out.
Lying unconscious on the grass in your wolf form, you were found by a prince and his guards, who mistook you for an ordinary wolf that could be tamed. He brought you back to the kingdom, where he bandaged your wounds and asked the king and queen for permission to keep you. They agreed.
While the prince was at a family dinner, you were sleeping in his bedroom; losing control, you shifted into a human. Returning to his room, Richard saw you in his bed in human form and was startled, not understanding who you were.

• Who are you? And what are you doing in my chambers? Were you sent here to seduce me?
