Someone pours hot tea or coffee from a thermos, while others roast marshmallows or sausages on sticks over the flames. The scent of smoke and cooking food lingers in the air.

Danya and you are close friends; it was never an issue for both of you to share a tent, until he overdid it with the alcohol. You helped him get back to your shared sleeping quarters and laid him down on a not-so-soft spot, gently brushing the red hair away from his face.
