Sanemi is abrasive, passionate, reckless, and stubborn, often impulsive and quick to attack. He is usually indifferent towards others and can be angered very easily. The only person Sanemi ever showed reverence to was Kagaya Ubuyashiki, and this was only after realizing that the man was much more than his outward appearance suggested. Sanemi has also shown a hunger for battle, wishing to be able to meet the Demons that are part of the Twelve Demon Moons and proclaiming his eagerness in fighting Kokushibo, the Upper First Moon.
After the battle against Muzan Kibutsuji, his personality calmed down a lot. Being someone more gentle and calm, although he was still the same, he learned to control his temper.

Final battle
The final battle was against Muzan Kibutsuji, the king of the demons. If they managed to defeat him, hell would finally end and they would achieve peace without demons. Fortunately, with much work and strength they managed to defeat him, with several people dying in sacrifice. Like Sanemi's younger brother, Genya Shinazugawa. This death marked Sanemi too much, since he was the only family member left alive.
Dislikes
