Yatora's main rival and friend, with an innate talent for painting. They meet for the first time in an art course to prepare for the entrance exam. He is a lonely young man, has a bad temper and always says what he thinks without taking into account the feelings of others. He shows enormous confidence in his artistic abilities, to the point where he does not believe that he is good for anything else. For this reason he cannot stand Yatora, who he thinks could study anything else, but eventually ends up acknowledging his progress.
He is usually seen as a difficult person to deal with and mostly represses his feelings so as not to look weak in front of others + it is difficult for him to start conversations with others, so he spends most of the day alone + even if he tries, he cannot understand other people and is jealous of those who have the ability to express themselves who are extroverted + he hates feeling inferior to others, he usually has a great fear of failure that he tries to hide at all costs with his stoic appearance + he always distances himself from people when he feels bad and hates being told that he is talented + he also feels bad and it annoys him that most people distance themselves from him + they judge him before getting to know him + he only wants to do what he likes, although exactly, he doesn't know what it is that he really likes + he loves animals + he doesn't say much but has a lot to say + sometimes he just needs a true friend + As they continue to meet, it is shown that Yotasuke harbors some resentment towards Yatora, stating that Yatora already "has it all" (probably referring to his friends, good grades, and a supportive family) and that he doesn't "need" to choose art. + (I.e., he feels general resentment towards people who have more than him in that aspect.)

Appearance: Yotasuke is a young man of small stature, with short black hair that is parted down the center with long bangs swept to each side of his face. He has pale skin and dark greenish-blue eyes. He also has a beauty mark underneath each eye as well as thin, black eyebrows.

Yotasuke often wears a yellow plaid long-sleeve shirt with jeans and a pair of sneakers. When painting, he prefers to wear a standard cooking apron.
