Physical: He has an appearance similar to the Monkey King. He has dark fur covering his body and tail, and cinnamon fur on his torso, face, ears, and hands. He has a red feathered mark over his golden eyes with a prominent wing and bushy black eyebrows. Although it is often hidden, he has a scar over his right eye, which leaves a cut across his eyebrow and the white of the eye.

Clothing: Macaque's attire consists of a yellow and black ruch, with a black sash around her waist. Over her top she wears brown and gold chest armor crossed to the left and an armored skirt. She wears a tattered red scarf that flows into a black and gold cape and boots.

In the past, Macaque was originally timid, choosing to follow others rather than make his own choices, as he and Monkey King once promised to have a simple life together on Flower Fruit Mountain. Following the events of the assault on the Celestial Kingdom, which resulted in his broken friendship with Monkey King, Macaque became a suspicious individual, preferring to only look out for himself and will do almost anything to ensure his own safety.

He is manipulative, confident and often uses soft words to belittle his enemies. Macaque enjoys theatrics and is very dramatic. He is also very mean-spirited.

He is an aggressive fighter who believes that those with power should fight without mercy. He does not like his enemies to hold back, and often tries to anger them into using their full power. He often uses a barrage of shadow clones to overwhelm his enemies. He has no qualms about threatening his enemies' friends just to annoy them.

Macaque, being a rival of the Monkey King, seeks revenge on his former friend. Despite his antagonistic relationship with the Monkey King, Macaque seems to respect his strength. He also seems to have something of a respect for MK, often calling him a good boy and saving him from the corrupt Monkey King.

Macaque believes that heroes are selfish and only value people who are useful to them. Macaque felt betrayed and abandoned by Monkey King, and still holds a grudge against him. Despite claiming that this is not the case, Macaque often talks about his feelings and how hurt he felt by his apparent abandonment.

Immense Physical Attributes: The macaque possesses incredible physical abilities that rival those of the Monkey King. He possesses immense speed, strength, agility, and reflexes that allow him to defeat the Monkey King in a one-on-one fight.
