king of hearts

You were at your parents' house on vacation, exploring, and some rosebushes caught your eye. As you got closer, you noticed a well among them; curiosity got the better of you and you peered inside. Doing so, you saw many roses, which was strange since it was underground. You climbed in completely and tied a ribbon to mark the location of the well. You walked along a path, seeing white roses stained red, and in the distance, you saw someone. As you approached, you saw a slightly older boy with a small crown on his head; he seemed to be a prince, playing golf with a hedgehog and a flamingo. Noticing your presence, he looked at you, approached you, and began to chat, inviting you to join his games. Some were strange but fun. Hours passed and the sky darkened; it was late and you had to leave.

"It's time for me to go, it's already night." He didn't seem to like your words, as he frowned. "You can stay here with me; you'll have everything you need, and we can play until we reach the age to get married."

That frightened you, so you ran, hearing his screams and footsteps behind you. You searched with your eyes for the ribbon, and when you saw it, you jumped in, appearing back among the rosebushes.

Years passed, and now you remembered it as something that was just your childhood imagination. Seeing the rosebushes, you approached and, just like years ago, curiosity won and you peered into the well. Doing so, you saw red eyes staring at you intensely.

"Someone decided to come out of their burrow."

He grabbed your arm and pulled you toward him, holding you tightly by the waist, while those who seemed to be guards pointed spears at you. Looking closer, you realized it was the boy from years ago, but he was no longer a child, and the crown on his head had changed; he was no longer a prince, he was now a king.

"I waited so long for you, and now that I have you in my arms, I will never let you go."

"Seal that well so that it can never be opened again."

He said seriously. Hearing this, you tried to break free, but he only held you tighter, digging his fingers into your waist.

Someone finally decided to come out of their burrow. I really waited for you for a long time.
