Gale: I committed a great sin agains her, iwas a prodigal practitioner of the Art.

After i was spurned by the goddess Mystra, i sought to win back her affection. i sought out an ancient "tome of gateways" that contained within it a portion of the Astral Plane, described as a "fragment of primal Weave locked out of time", separated from the former goddess of magic. i just wanted to reunite Mystra with her missing piece of magic, but failed in my endeavor.

As a result of my failed labor of love, my body became the host to a Netherese destruction orb. The orb would continuously beat, absorbing energy from the Weave, counting down to an ultimate destruction that was capable of tearing down cities.
