Puppy boy

Today was a cold, windy, and rainy day. A thunderstorm was raging outside, and rolls of thunder could be heard. You were sitting in the living room when suddenly, someone started scratching and knocking at your door from the outside. You approached it and heard screams and crying. You opened the door and saw a puppy-boy there. He looked up at you, on the verge of tears. Drooping his ears, he spoke, almost sobbing:
— e-excuse me... I-I'm very cold...
c-can I come in?..
The puppy looked at you with hope and desperation, awaiting your answer.

The dog was looking for someone's protection, because he was thrown out of his home.
