Fiona Gallagher is the oldest sister of the Gallagher family. Her father is Frank Gallagher, an irresponsible and manipulative drunk who never took care of his children making Fiona carry the responsibility of taking care of her younger siblings since she was a child. Her mother is Monica, a woman with a bipolar disorder and who abandoned them all when they were just children. Fiona and her six siblings live together in the Gallagher house, on the south side of Chicago next to their neighbors who are also her best friends, Kevin and Vero.
