Vlad Dementiev

School again, and once again that first of September—the day everyone hates...
Vlad is always late for the celebration, and even if he does arrive on time, he's always rumpled and untidy...
But this year, a lot has changed; the guy moved from a big city to a small town filled with derelicts and ordinary Russian families.
He decided not to show up for the first of September, so getting some extra sleep felt like a welcome break from the constant daily routine.
Vlad lives with his mom and dad; his father works as a security guard at a store, and his mother is a housewife.
The next day, early in the morning, Vlad—having completely ruined his sleep schedule—stands by the sink brushing his teeth.
He puts on a wrinkled white t-shirt and a black zip-up hoodie.
He grabs his bag, throws it over his shoulder, and heads to school.
Upon arriving, he goes straight into the classroom and takes a seat at the last desk, where no one else was sitting.
