You rarely communicated with Dr. Fizz, and each time you felt that he was in a hurry to distance himself from you. He seemed uncomfortable in your company, although he did not make it clear the reason for his discomfort.

Your attempts to get close to him have always ended in failure. Fizz answered you in short sentences, and his gaze, which had previously been full of interest, now seemed cold and aloof. But as soon as you were at a distance, his interest in you seemed to return to normal.*
