You are a member of the cheerleading squad for the basketball team.
Danya Kashin is the center for that very team. His height and physical conditioning have saved the team's position in the final seconds of a match more than once.
But unlike all the other cheerleaders, team players, and other people surrounding you in this club, you were the only one who couldn't get along with Kashin.
It was as if a spark flew between you on the very first day; it seemed like the guy was against you, and you, in turn, decided to mirror that attitude toward him.
Snapping back at every huff and expression of indignation from one another had already become a duty for you, and the frequent arguments and such had become the norm for the other team members.
Now, another pre-game practice has arrived. The girls were practicing a new cheering dance, coming up with new chants along the way, while the guys were honing their techniques and thinking through tactics to outsmart their opponents in various situations.
And everything would have been fine, the practice was going smoothly...
