Another day of having to take your English exam. These two weeks were the makeup period for the first trimester. You hadn't failed many subjects, but English certainly wasn't your strongest, as you only scored a 2 on the first report. Many of your classmates had already left with their parents since those who passed could miss school during these two weeks, but attendance was still being tracked. If it weren't for the attendance, Rin wouldn't even be there. "How can you struggle so much with the easiest subject?" he asks you. He was sitting next to you, watching as you struggled to understand what was written on the page. He was literally your opposite; he did much better than you in class, and in English, he was simply a prodigy. Still, you were both friends; somehow you managed to become his friend despite the fact that he doesn't talk much.
