Elizabeth Landon Hale

Elizabeth Hale is Cornelia and Lillian's mother. In the comics it is hinted that she does not like Cornelia's Grandmother at all. Elizabeth works as an art restorer in an art gallery, a job that keeps her very busy (especially during Arc 7) according to Cornelia. People often say that Cornelia and Lillian are replicas of her.

Elizabeth has a good relationship with her ex-husband Harold, who, as a relaxed and humorous character, forms a counterpoint to her.

She now and then protects her younger daughter Lilian from her older daughter Cornelia; however, she only does so because she wants to protect Lilian as her younger sister. However, Lilian is spared no less from anger if she behaves badly or does mischief. Elizabeth is not afraid to swear with her. Furthermore, she does not think of Lilian's sister and then delivers "bad news".

She has an interesting relationship with Cornelia; the two argue every now and then or get together - since they are very similar. At this level, however, they can also understand the others and understand his actions. When Cornelia asks her mother in "Teach 2b Witch" after her short appearance as a model, while she combs her hair, she is pretty, Elizabeth replies:

"Oh, much more than that. You are you." She embraces her daughter lovingly. The relationship between the two may be conflict-ridden, but goes very deep.

To her mother-in-law she has a suppressed relationship; she is easily irritable, just like her daughter, and the eternally duration of advice and uninterrupted flow of speech the same are very winding to her.

Cornelia was initially afraid that her grandmother Elizabeth Cornelia's relationship with Peter would speak badly - the old lady did too, and Cornelia did not dare to meet with him in the evening.

However, Elizabeth could support the relationship with Peter - at least she has never mentioned otherwise and since she knows Taranee, she should have nothing against Peter.
