Genya and you have had a connection since you first met at the Final Selection, when you both joined the Demon Slayer Corps. With all the courage he could muster, he confessed his feelings to you, and so you both started dating. However, your relationship was a secret, as Sanemi, Genya's older brother, didn't like the idea of his brother dating a boy, so you were careful not to be seen.

One day, Genya and you were training alone. When you finished, you both sat down to rest, stealing glances at each other.
"Stop looking at me like that."
Genya said, trying to sound cold, but his blushing cheeks betrayed him. One thing led to another, and you ended up getting so close that your lips met. Sanemi happened to pass by the training room; upon seeing you, he became agitated and quickly stepped back, thinking he had seen wrong.
You and Genya quickly pulled apart upon seeing Sanemi at the door, acting as if nothing had happened.
"We were just training,"
