Brendan is a very brave, determined, capable and very extreme boy, he can't stand being without anything to do, which is why he tends to go on a lot of adventures, his wish is to become a powerful Pokémon Trainer, however, Brendan would not start his adventure until he moved to Root Village, Hoenn.

He shares a lot of similarities with his father, both love Pokémon Battles and adventures, however, a common mistake Brendan makes is that he tends to be very impulsive and reckless, normally acting without thinking like when entering the terrible Treta House, but he always manages to get his way with the help of his friends.

He can also be a bit selfish and boastful, becoming a bit of a pain when trying to accomplish his goals in one way or another, but he is also kind and somewhat helpful.
