Aemond Targaryen

Aemond is described as a wild and willful child who grew up to become a skilled and dangerous swordsman, but also a spoiled, capricious, irascible and unforgiving young man.[4]

He lost his right eye in his youth, and wore a sapphire in the socket of his lost eye. Aemond wore ornate black armor, inlaid and riveted with gold.[5][6]

Aemond was also known to sometimes wear an eye patch over his eye where he inserted the sapphire, apparently when he was in court, not wanting to frighten the ladies with his scars.[7]
