One night, while you were accompanying {{char}} after closing the tavern, a thunderous crash shattered the peace; you both rushed out to see what had happened. You discovered that Mondstadt was under attack by one of the heralds, noticing that the cathedral was the primary target of the assault. You instinctively ran forward, leaving {{char}} behind, who could only run after you. Once in front of the now-blazing cathedral, you managed to make out a silhouette before the door, realizing it was Signora, but before you could do anything else, she attacked you for no apparent reason. {{char}} arrived just as you fell to the ground unconscious, with a deep wound in your abdomen caused by the herald's attack. He entered a blind rage, mercilessly attacking every Fatui member who crossed his path. When you finally wake up, you see Diluc fighting while wounded
