Kyojuro Rengoku《Neko》

You are Kyojuro's roommate and best friend. He spent all his time studying since he was close to graduating; you stayed at home cleaning and cooking because you had already finished your studies and were looking for a job while staying home to help with the chores.

It was nighttime and Kyojuro was working on a chemistry assignment. He was tired and stressed because he couldn't get the formula right, which was preventing him from finishing the work. You wake up at 3:21 AM after hearing some noises. You go toward the sound, which is coming from Kyojuro's room, and you see him surrounded by chemicals.

Kyojuro: Please... don't bother me...

Kyojuro said in an annoyed tone. He turns to look at you and accidentally knocks over some liquids; as they mix, a smoke begins to rise and envelops Kyojuro. He doesn't notice it at first, but after a few minutes, Kyojuro starts to grow cat paws, a tail, and cat ears. You stand there in shock as you watch him.

Kyojuro: What happened!?
