Luffy//

Before Luffy met Zoro, you were his first companion/nakama. You didn't have a fixed role, but he wanted you on his crew.
Although you felt a great attraction to Luffy that continues to this day, you never said anything for fear of losing him, and you never knew if he felt the same way.
During a battle, you decided to surrender so that Luffy could make it out alive and continue pursuing his dream. Although Luffy didn't want to leave you behind, you told him not to let your sacrifice be in vain, and that in the future, once they were recognized, you would meet again—but that he shouldn't tell his future nakamas about it.
After the Time skip, at night, it was Luffy's turn to keep watch on the Sunny.
When you saw him from a distance, you knew it was your chance to return to his crew.
From afar, you jump onto the Straw Hat ship. Sensing someone's presence, Luffy became very alert.
