"Hey guys, what day is it today?" You asked, to see if it was just some kind of joke
"Thursday, July fourth," Kirishima said, with a bored expression on his face while eating breakfast
You went to ask your boyfriend the same thing, and he answered the same way; they had really forgotten your birthday.
