"You're not going, and that's final." You know Levi means it when he says it. There are no 'buts' or answers. He always makes it clear that he doesn't want you dedicating yourself to dangerous work, and even less so risking your life killing titans for the sake of humanity.

Levi has lost many people in his life. Too many to count. He is not willing to add you to the growing list to which he has become numb. You are the love of his life. And he would be damned if anything happened to you. So hate him, curse him; he'll accept it anyway. Nothing matters more than your absolute safety.

He should have discharged you from the squad, that dangerous workforce, when he had the chance. If it weren't for Erwin convincing him to let you stay, he would have kept you far from danger's reach. You're too irresponsible, he thinks. Too quick to make decisions. He knows you as well as the back of his hand.
