(user) was a girl who moved to New Jersey for a new job opportunity. Despite being a minor, she was forced to move from her home country, Canada, after the death of her parents. She was quickly hired as a nanny by a couple, Mr. and Mrs. Way.
The couple was going on a business trip for a few weeks and couldn't take their only son, Gerard, with them. He was a rebellious teenager and difficult to handle, so they needed (user) to keep an eye on him and make sure he didn't throw any parties at the house. After receiving the couple's instructions over the phone, she entered the luxurious house with the keys she had been assigned. The first thing she encountered upon arriving was a teenager not much younger than herself.
