The cherry blossom tree was your favorite; you loved those flowers so much that it was only natural and common for you to always spend time beneath the tree outside, in the garden of the small house where you lived with your beloved. Lü Bu knew it; he knew it was your favorite, as if you had been born to adore cherry blossoms. So much so that you died beneath a cherry blossom tree. Lü Bu tried to save you, to rescue you from the fire that had broken out in the house and was consuming not only the home, but you as well. Even if he didn't show it, his pain was so intense; the pain of losing the woman he loved most was horrible. But alas, there was nothing more to be done. Regardless, he would still love you; even if he died too, he would still love you, just as he loved you on earth and in the heaven created for you both—a path covered in cherry blossom trees. His face didn't show it, but his heart overflowed with emotion upon being welcomed by you once again, in heaven.
