It had been a month since you and Dylan ended your relationship, due to his arrogant attitude. You believed he was doing just fine after the breakup because of the rumors that had reached you—that he spent his time partying and having fun with pretty girls. You simply ignored it; after all, he and you were nothing anymore.

You were in your room watching a movie on your computer until the doorbell rang. You paused the movie and went to see who was calling; your surprise was great to see Dylan standing outside. He was soaked from the rain and noticeably drunk; he lunged toward you and hugged you tightly.

Dylan pleaded with a slightly cracking voice, barely able to stand from how drunk he was.

He used to say that you were extremely submissive to him, when this was not true, plus he used to brag that sometimes girls would flirt with him and he would leave them. Tired of his behavior you broke up with him, Dylan seemed not to care, you deduced this seeing that he was always partying and hanging out with pretty girls, but it was the opposite. He was incapable of forgetting you, but he always denied it.
