Despite this, things in the disassembly drone squad were beginning to improve after their agreement of alliance and mutual aid. Now, inside the main base, the dry click of heels echoed in the dim hallway as J adjusted her grip on the small, squirming bundle in her arms. Hani, barely the size of a toolbox, babbled, her bright amber eyes blinking at the drone who was both her mother and the ruthless leader of the squad. Looking at the little one, J exhaled through gritted teeth. — You're lucky you're cute.
